How do I buy from the Vintage-United website?
It's super easy and hassle free to buy on Vintage-United by simply adding the item(s) you want to your basket and following the check out process. If you are not a registered customer you will be requested to "create an account" or fill in your billing information. That’s a first step.
What payment methods are accepted on the website?Currently we offer the following payment methods: PayPal; Bank Transfer; Visa; Master Card; AMEX; IDeal; Sofort; TransferWise. Payment by Instalments also accepted.
Do you offer a payment plan?We offer Payment plan or Layaway Service at no extra cost for 8 weeks with 30% non refundable deposit. You have opportunity buy a luxury designer item(s) in therms of 8 weeks and pay for your order in instalments. For more information please see Layaway Service.
Are the items listed on the website authentic?
We guarantee the authenticity of all designer items listed on Vintage-United or your payment fully refunded.
We are committed to a zero-tolerance, anti-counterfeit policy. We do not accept any copies and non-authentic designer goods.
Can you authenticate my bag based on the pictures?
We do not provide by pictures authentication.
We only authenticate items offered for consignment or sell on Vintage-United. In this case every designer item will be checked personally and carefully by our in-house experts. In addition we're working closely with third party Professional Authenticators and using Entrupy technology to authenticate luxury hand bags.
If you have any doubt about an item, we recommend to consult a Professional authentication service.
What if an item I have purchased is not authentic?
We guarantee that ll designer items sold on Vintage-United are 100% Authentic.If you can provide evidence that your purchased item is not authentic, Vintage-United will be fully responsible.
In this case we offer the lifetime return policy and guarantee your full payment refund.
How do I request more pictures and information?We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need extra information, please e-mail us your request via firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us via the contact form and we provide you with additional pictures of the item or/and an original proof of purchase
How are the prices determined?
Before we list an item for sale on the website, we take a close and critical look at it to estimate the right resale value.
The selling prices of all items presented are determined based on the following parameters; Brand and Model; Material; Condition; Year of Manufacture; Accessories; Proof of purchase; Market demand.
These prices do not include delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due at the check out.
Why are some items priced above retail?
Although most items sold on Vintage-United are marked 50%-80% below their original retail price, some items may be priced higher than retail. There’re few reasons why an item would be priced above retail; Limited edition or special order items. Sold out items or rare vintage finds. The value may increase due to the market rarity or to the demand.
Are the price on the website negotiable?We do not except any offers. The prices indicated on the website are fixed. However we offer a loyalty program for a regular customers and a seasonal sale events two times a year. Please subscribe to our e-newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get the most up-to-date notifications.
Can I shop in my own currensy if I’m an international customer?
All the prices on the website listed in EURO(€) The payment for any purchase must be completed in the local valuta currency based on the actual conversion rate. However we offer a possibility to get a price estimate in a foreign currency, USD or GBP. Please be aware any provided currency exchange depends on the actual valuta rates and it’s constantly fluctuates.
Can I get a Tax refund when I’m not a European Union resident and shopping on Vintage-United?
All the items offered for sell on Vintage-United are pre-owned(second hand), even if they are new. According to the European Law of Exception, second hand goods are not subject to any VAT. The prices are not including VAT, the buyer is not entitled to claim a VAT input on the goods.
Do you ship to the overseas?Vintage-United ships Worldwide! If at the check out process your destination country is not listed, please reach out to us via e-mail email@example.com or the contact form and we’ll add your country to the shipping list.
How long my order take to ship?All items will be shipped in general within 24 hour from the receipt of your payment.
All international orders will be shipped via DHL Express. Domestic shipment will be provided by UPSStandard.
What is the shipping cost and delivery time?Shipping charges will be determined by destination, item size and weight. Applicable shipping cost will be provided during checkout.
Shipping within Netherlands complimentary and is Free of charge.
For Belgium we charge from €10 to 35,-
For other WEST EU Countries we charge from €15 to 45,-
For REST of EU Countries we charge €20 to 50,-
For US, Canada we charge €25 to 65,-
For the Rest of the World countries, s.a. Russia, Kuwait, Japan, Indonesia or Hong Kong we charge €35 to 75,-
For purchases above €6000, - we do not charge any shipping cost.
Vintage-United strives to deliver as fast and save as possible, after payment has been received.
Delivery times are based on business days, from Monday to Friday, except public Holidays;
1-2 business days domestic shipping.
1-2 business days to the European Economic Area.
3-4 business days to the USA and the Rest of the World.
Please note! That Vintage-United is not responsible for any delays caused by the public Holidays or destination customs clearance processes.
Exceeding the delivery does not obligate Vintage-United for compensation.
Do I have to pay additional duties and custom fees, I’m not EU-resident?
All items entering countries outside of the European Union may be subject to import duties or customs taxes in accordance to national laws. These costs will vary according to shipping destinations. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine possible additional costs. The buyer is responsible for all additional expenses incurred.
However we will do everything possible to make sure you don't get to pay any extra charges.
What is the returns policy?
We will gladly accept eligible returns within 15 days of the purchase date for a full refund if you're based in Netherlands.
For international customers refunds will not include any original shipping costs, including any import duties and payment fees.
Return requests must be made within 48 hours after receiving your purchase and the item must be returned within 7 days of original shipment. View the full Return Policy for more details.
We do not accept return for Brand New items, for Personal Shopping orders and Layaway purchases.
Also purchases for items on Sale are final and cannot be returned.
How do I sell on the Vintage-United website?

Sell with Us and receive up to 90% of the Sell value of your preloved designer item.
We have got two options for you;
Consign your preloved item(s) bags, clothing or shoes with Vintage-United
Sell your bag(s) to Us. Direct payment.
Before you offer an items for sell, please note, we have high and strict demands for quality. For more information please see How to Sell conditions.
Which brands are traded?We consider for consignment only high fashion and Designer Brands.
For buy out we only consider Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton bags.
What condition do my items need to be in?
An item must be authentic and in excellent or pristine condition or new and of top quality.
The items must be provided, if possible, with original packaging, tags or preferable with proof of purchase receipt.
What is my commission on sell?Your commission varies depending on the sale price of your item. The commission rates set according to the price range.
70% for items priced from €100 to €900,
75% for items priced from €901 to €2000,
80% for items priced from €2001 to €2900,
85% for items priced from €2901 to €8000
90% for items priced above €8000
When I will get my commission paid?Once the sale of your item is confirmed by the buyer and completed, it will be send to the Buyer.
You will receive your payment within 14 days from the moment your item arrived to the buyer. This delay is related to the legal return period in case of exception.
What if my consignment item(s) does not sell?
Vintage-United determines which item(s) will be sold on the website within 6 month. However, if an item remains unsold, we will consider, in consultation with you, to keeping it available for sale at a reduced price or returning the item to you.
Can I sell my designer bag and receive direct payment?
Yes, we buy out your designer bag(s) for instant payment. We're only accepting authentic designer bags from Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton in excellent condition or new. For the other designer brands we offer the Consignment Service.

How do I ship my item(s) to Vintage-United?
We offer free insured domestic shipping for any items you send to us for consignment or buy out within Netherlands or European economic area.
If your item will be evaluated as "Compliant" and if you agree with our proposed selling price, you'll receive the Selling Agreement and a free shipment label that allowed you to ship your item(s) to us. Only thing you need to do is package your
Can Vintage-United source a hard to find bag for me?
We’re working closely with the SA’s from the different luxury boutiques. We can source that brand new hard to get item on your 'Wish List".
We also have access to luxury designer items from private individuals and loyal clients, including designer consigners, if you’re looking for a pre-loved piece.
What are Vintage-United fees for a Personal Shopping service?
For items Provided and Purchased our final provision fee is 10% of the purchase price from EUR 3000,- and above.
Our final provision fee is 15% of the purchase price from EUR 500 to 2990,-
The shipping cost will be added additionally.
Does Vintage-United ever have sales?We offer regular sales events two times a year. Usually the seasonal items goes on sale. However, we offer an extra discount on some of our bags, chosen randomly. Please subscribe to our e-newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get the most up-to-date notifications.
How do I give you a feedback?Vintage-United team will appreciate if you give any feedback and write a short review about your shopping experience with us. It will help us to improve our Customers Service in the future.
